Job Title: Talend Developer Location: Hybrid role in Irving, TX (Local Project) Interview: Video then Onsite Interview Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data integration solutions using Talend (Data Integration, Data Fabric, or Big Data edition) to extract, transform, and load data across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements, data flows, and transformation rules.
- Integrate data from multiple sources such as relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), flat files, and cloud-based platforms.
- Optimize ETL jobs and data pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of data movement.
- Implement data quality checks and validations within Talend to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Schedule, monitor, and manage Talend jobs using Talend Administration Center (TAC) or external schedulers (e.g., Control-M, Autosys).
- Work closely with the database team to design schemas, optimize queries, and improve load performance.
- Deploy Talend jobs into on-premises or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) ensuring secure and seamless execution.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ETL issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement version control and CI/CD processes for Talend jobs using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document ETL design, data flow diagrams, and job dependencies for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards during data handling and integration.
- Stay updated with new Talend features and data integration technologies to recommend improvements and enhance ETL processes.
