OIC Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OIC Engineer with expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Java development. As an OIC Engineer, you will primarily focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations within the Oracle Integration Cloud platform. Additionally, you will utilize your Java programming skills to develop custom solutions and enhancements as needed. This role requires a deep understanding of integration concepts, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy integrations within the Oracle Integration Cloud platform to connect various applications and systems.
2. Work closely with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Configure and customize adapters, connections, and orchestrations within OIC to optimize integration workflows.
4. Develop custom Java components, extensions, and adapters to extend the functionality of OIC and address complex integration scenarios.
5. Collaborate with application developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration between different systems and applications.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, performance, and scalability.
7. Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and governance within the OIC environment.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Integration Cloud features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve integration solutions.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for designing, developing, and deploying integrations.
3. Strong proficiency in Java programming language with X years of experience in Java development.
4. In-depth understanding of integration patterns, RESTful APIs, web services, and messaging protocols.
5. Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Platform services such as Oracle PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
6. Familiarity with enterprise integration tools and technologies such as SOA Suite, API Gateway, and Service Bus is a plus.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
8. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
10. Oracle certifications in OIC or related technologies are desirable but not mandatory.
