Position Overview

As a Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to define and prioritize product features based on business value and customer needs. You will curate and manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product vision. As the key liaison between the development team and stakeholders, you will communicate project requirements, provide direction, and make critical decisions to drive project success. Your role involves overseeing the product development lifecycle, conducting user acceptance testing, and continuously refining the product to meet evolving market demands. Through effective leadership, decision-making, and collaboration, you will steer the project toward delivering maximum value to customers and achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead the product development process, collaborating with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Prioritize features and functionalities based on business value, market needs, and user feedback.

Create and maintain a detailed product backlog, ensuring that user stories and requirements are clear, concise, and aligned with business goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and developers, providing guidance and clarification on product requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Attend or conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions as part of Agile development practices.

Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback, identify pain points, and incorporate insights into product development.

Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and user behaviors to inform product enhancements and updates.

Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.

Work with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and intuitive product interfaces.

Qualifications/Experience:

Experience in developing and maintain Software as a Server (SaaS) solutions.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile development teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in creating and maintaining product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions to maximize product value.

Detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.

Understanding of cloud computing and related technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to navigate and thrive in a remote work environment.

Nice to Haves:

Certification in Product Ownership (CSPO or equivalent).

Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
