Job Title: AWS Python Developer Cloud Migration & Gen AI Focus
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Reston, VA or Plano, TX
Interview Requirement: Glider assessment required

Overview:

We're seeking a skilled AWS Python Developer to drive enterprise-level cloud migrations, support production environments, and integrate Generative AI tools. You ll work on infrastructure troubleshooting, performance tuning, and automation using AWS-native services and Python scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Python-based automation (Lambda, EMR, EC2, AWS Batch)

  • Support and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and cloud migrations

  • Optimize performance and resolve permission issues across AWS services

  • Architect AWS-based solutions in collaboration with business teams

  • Enable Gen AI integrations using AWS tools

Required Experience:

  • 12+ Years of overall software develoepment experiecne

  • 4+ years of hands-on AWS development (not just DevOps/SRE)

  • 4+ years of Strong Python scripting for AWS infrastructure

  • Deep knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, S3, EMR, Redshift, RDS, EC2, SageMaker, Glue, etc.

  • Experience writing bootstrap scripts and resolving infrastructure issues

  • Must have good exposure to Gen AI platforms or use cases

  • Strong debugging in production/customer-facing settings

Preferred:

  • Experience with financial environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Certifications (Preferred):

  • AWS Certified Developer Associate

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
