Sr. Electrical Engineer Power Electronics Test & Validation


We are seeking a skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer with expertise in power electronics design, testing, and validation to ensure high-performance, reliable, and compliant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and analyze power electronics topologies, schematics, PCB layouts, and converter simulations.

  • Conduct verification and validation testing of power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting using lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, oscilloscopes, etc.).

  • Lead root-cause analysis and drive R&D initiatives to improve system performance.

  • Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in power electronics testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong knowledge of power electronics topologies and control.

  • Proficiency with lab testing equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, oscilloscopes).

  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.

  • Experience in automotive or EV power electronics development.

  • Familiarity with industry compliance requirements.
