Job Details

As a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying MES solutions using the Tulip platform to support our digital transformation in manufacturing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows, ensure data integrity, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Tulip-based MES applications for production tracking, quality inspections, and digital work instructions
  • Configure integrations between Tulip and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, PLCs, IoT devices) using connectors like HTTP, SQL, and MQTT
  • Develop dashboards and analytics within Tulip to visualize KPIs such as OEE, cycle times, and defect rates
  • Train and support operators and engineers in using Tulip apps, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions
  • Maintain app versioning, permissions, and compliance with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 standards
  • Resolve issues related to app logic, performance, and data flow
  • Produce technical documentation, process maps, and integration protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in MES development, preferably with Tulip
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and digital transformation
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages
  • Familiarity with GMP, GAMP, and FDA regulatory environments
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Aveva PI, or similar platforms
  • Prior work in pharmaceutical or animal health manufacturing
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
