Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Description:

• This position will develop, execute, and manage IT projects within the defined scope.
• Come up with Project Plans , Timelines and Budgets
• Extensive experience in executing Agile based programs
• Work with cross functional teams and drive them for project deliverables
• Works with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables.
• Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team and Sr. Leadership.
• Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with department, management, and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
• Measure performance to ensure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain logistics
• Make decisions that impact project level activities.
• Influence project level budget.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in business, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 8 yrs. experience in project management, software development, and supply chain.

Certifications:

PMP,SAFe Agile certifcations.

Must Haves:

• IT Software project management in a waterfall and Agile settings
• need to be a leader, proactive Software delivery projects
• must be supply chain experienced in logistics or planning
• Experience in Risk and Change Management
• Not looking for scrum master experience
• Tactical day to day position for someone with 10 to 15 years experience as IT or Supply Chain Project Manager
• This is not a scum master position
• Software technical ability beyond typical project manager able to understand MS Azure, IT networking, security, processes, procedures, and evaluate technical requests

Strong speaking/writing/soft/interpersonal skills

• Position is customer facing, must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and properly to stakeholders
• Must be highly organized
• Must be able to professionally handle conflict and identify resolutions acceptable to all parties
• Presentation abilities in PowerPoint at the project, program and Sr. Leadership level.
