About the Role
As a Business Intelligence Developer supporting the Information Security Engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering data-driven insights that support cybersecurity initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling executive-level decision-making and operational transparency.

About the Role
As a Business Intelligence Developer supporting the Information Security Engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering data-driven insights that support cybersecurity initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, enabling executive-level decision-making and operational transparency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize cybersecurity metrics.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and actionable data visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation against source systems and databases.
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to align on data definitions and logic.
- Conduct functional and regression testing during release cycles to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Optimize dashboard performance using advanced filtering, parameters, and drill-down capabilities.
- Document dashboard logic, test cases, and validation procedures for audit and knowledge transfer.
- Lead the migration of legacy Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior team members on BI development best practices.
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development using Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial services, particularly within large banking institutions.
- 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent (e.g., consulting, military, education).
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
- Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, or other Microsoft BI tools.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity metrics and reporting frameworks.
