Job Title: Oracle HCM Technical Consultant
Location:Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary:
The Oracle HCM Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud. This role involves working closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement system enhancements, and ensure seamless integration across HR modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and support Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management.
- Perform data conversions, integrations, and reports using tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
- Design and implement interfaces between Oracle HCM and other enterprise applications.
- Participate in HCM Cloud upgrades, patch testing, and overall system optimization.
- Provide technical expertise for issue resolution, system performance, and operational stability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation for custom objects, integrations, and data migration activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a technical consultant in Oracle HCM Cloud environments.
- Expertise in HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fast Formulas.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or REST/SOAP APIs.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification (Technical or Implementation).
- Experience in payroll or time and labor integrations.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud or legacy Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Knowledge of data security, roles, and user access management within Oracle HCM Cloud.
