Job Description:

We are actively seeking high-caliber Java developers with prior experience at Capital One to join a strategic technology initiative. This role involves building scalable microservices, working within a modern DevOps-driven cloud environment, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Contribute to architecture, design discussions, and technical documentation.
Work within Agile teams to deliver end-to-end features across the tech stack.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Drive quality with unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
Background in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong team collaboration mindset.
Familiarity with cloud-native development AWS or similar.
Experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Prior experience working at Capital One (must be clearly reflected in the resume).
Experience working in high-regulation, financial services environments.
Exposure to Kafka, NoSQL databases, and containerization (Docker/K8s).
