Job Details
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineerfor a Hybrid opportunity 3 days a week in Columbia, SC. Candidate will lead complex IT infrastructure deployments, including the design, planning, and execution of server and network changes.
Required Qualifications of the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure (servers and/or networks)
- Experience in building and supporting IT infrastructure
- Application design and Cisco ACI experience
- GitHub experience for Software Defined Networks
- Nice To Have: Skills in Windows Server, RHEL, OpenShift, BIGIP, Cisco, Telephony systems, IBM/Hitachi SAN/NAS storage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years plus an associate's degree
Responsibilities of the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer:
- Responsible for the most complex project driven work assigned to the area
- Evaluate technical solutions and assess customer requirements
- Determine necessary infrastructure changes for servers and networks
- Create deployment specification documents for teams
Work Location: Onsite Tues Thurs (and as needed) in Columbia, SC
