Job Position: Global Supply Manager, Retail Development

Job Location: Newark, CA

Job Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

  • Create Purchase requisitions and track them to completion.
  • Assist purchasing and Retail Development team with PO changes and updates.
  • Ensure teams are properly submitting purchase requests in Jira and process accordingly.
  • Invoice reconciliation.
  • Work with Vendors and AP for outstanding invoices.
  • Improve processes.
  • Complete NDAs and conduct RFIs.
  • Create RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from vendors and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and manage cost changes throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Maintain overall contractor relationships and act as single point of contact for all issues.
  • Responsible for the selection of vendors and onboarding.
  • Work with internal business partners; Finance, Legal, Accounts Payables, Warehouse managers and other cross functional teams on projects.
  • Own key supplier relationships and performance, both strategic and tactical, through the entire life cycle of company projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree Supply Chain, Finance or related technical field, Relevant work experience in procurement, or supply chain discipline may be considered in lieu of Bachelor s degree.
  • Must have Indirect Procurement experience, Retail Procurement experience is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic business experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking, combined with quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Experience conducting bid processes (RFI, RFP, and informal bids), negotiating with vendors, writing contracts, and implementing contracts/ agreements.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and keep a high level of focus.
  • Ability to adapt to constantly evolving circumstances and changing organizational requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, SmartSheets, ERP Systems (SAP), Coupa, and Jira.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and follow-through.
  • A commitment to learning and development that encourages personal and professional growth.

Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $45.00/hour-$50.00/hour.
