Business Systems Analyst Healthcare (FACETS Required)
Location: 100% Remote

Mandatory Requirements:
Healthcare insurance experience with FACETS clearly listed on resume and should be recent
Medicaid and Medicare domain experience is mandatory

Role Overview:
Client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst who is business focused and stakeholder driven. This role supports IT teams but operates from a business perspective, with a strong emphasis on communication, requirement clarity, and cross team collaboration.
The team's mission is to improve communication and requirement alignment across multiple business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders to validate understanding and direction
Actively engage with business stakeholders and participate confidently in conference calls
Gather requirements and dig beyond surface level needs by asking the right follow up questions
Write user stories and translate user stories into detailed textual requirement statements
Support projects that are not fully user story based
Work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall environments
Coordinate stakeholder meetings and manage scheduling flexibility
Analyze requirements and ensure alignment with business and system capabilities
Actively engage with business stakeholders and participate confidently in conference calls

Strong self-starter who can independently learn tools and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to handle challenging stakeholders
Ability to recognize when escalation is needed and engage upstream teams appropriately
Healthcare insurance experience with deep FACETS knowledge
Understanding of claims pathways and government programs
Experience translating business needs into both user stories and textual requirements
Data mining experience using relational databases to analyze member and provider claims
Ability to connect data insights back to business needs and development teams
