Job Details:
Lead BODS Developer to drive data integration projects and collaborate closely with both technical teams and business partners. This role requires a strong background in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), hands-on expertise in ETL processes, and the ability to lead design and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions using SAP BODS.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into target systems (data warehouses, data marts, operational stores).
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT leaders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct peer reviews, testing, and validation of deliverables.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Optimize and tune BODS jobs for performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain documentation including data mappings, technical specifications, and process flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data integration and ETL processes.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience as a Lead on BODS projects.
- Strong expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases.
- Experience extracting data from Snowflake and posting to CRM systems.
- Data modeling, schema design, and data profiling expertise.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Ability to ask the right technical questions and guide solutions.
