About the Role
Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for breaking software in all the right ways? We re looking for a Manual Software Tester to join our team in Merrifield, VA. In this role, you ll be the quality gatekeeper making sure every feature, function, and workflow delivers a smooth, reliable experience before it reaches the end user. If you thrive on uncovering issues others miss and love collaborating with developers and business teams to ship better software, this role is for you.
What You ll Do
Write, execute, and maintain test cases that bring requirements to life.
Perform hands-on testing: regression, integration, system, user acceptance, and exploratory.
Hunt down bugs, log defects, and partner with developers to drive fixes through to resolution.
Keep crystal-clear documentation of test results and evidence.
Jump into requirement reviews and add your voice to improve quality from the start.
Own your part in ensuring smooth releases and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
3 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Comfort using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, or similar.
Strong communication skills you can explain what s broken and why it matters.
Curiosity and problem-solving skills that help you dig deeper when something doesn t add up.
Nice to Have
Experience testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
Basic SQL skills for validating data.
Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, UFT, etc.) an added bonus, not a requirement.
