About the Role

Seeking an experienced Contract Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex data and analytics projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in

data engineering, data platforms, analytics, and/or cloud technologies, combined with proven expertise in project management, product ownership, and stakeholder coordination. This role bridges the gap

between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end delivery of data-related projects (data pipelines, data platform migrations, analytics

dashboards, etc.).

Act as bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into

actionable project or product roadmaps.

Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and product managers to define scope,

requirements, and success metrics.

Develop project plans, timelines, RACI matrices, and risk mitigation strategies; track progress and

report status regularly.

Understand data architecture concepts (ETL/ELT, data lakes, medallion architecture, data

governance, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift/Databricks).

Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups; ensure blockers are resolved quickly.

Enforce data quality standards, documentation practices, and governance practices.

Align technical teams and business stakeholders across engineering, analytics, finance, marketing,

and product functions.

Qualifications

5 10+ years of project/program management or product ownership, with 3+ years specifically in data

or analytics projects.

Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks) and ETL/ELT

tools (Informatica, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.).

Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and hybrid project/product management methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's

a plus). PMP, CSM, or Agile certifications preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in federated data engineering teams or with data product frameworks.
