Job Title: IT Delivery Lead II
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in leading and driving complex projects across multiple teams.
- Minimum 2 years experience working on cybersecurity projects and familiarity with cybersecurity technology and jargon.
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
Engagement Description
- Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing complex application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the system development and release management processes.
- Oversee client/customer/vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met.
- Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
- Monitor all project risks and issues and manages their resolution and impact.
- Facilitate project meetings.
- Communicate project status to project team and stakeholders.
Required Skills/Experience The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Strong ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, PlanView, JIRA, etc.
- Strong familiarity with waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively drive technical and business discussions
- Solid focus on execution of projects.
- Effective management of issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Preferred Skills/Experience Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
- Distributed application development experience.
- System analysis experience preferred.
Education/Certifications Include:
- Bachelor s degree required; Computer Science (or related) preferred.
- Project Management Institute s Project Management.
