Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead cloud migration and modernization efforts, focusing on AWS. You ll help design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust AWS cloud architectures.

  • Provide thought leadership in multi-cloud and AWS migration strategies.

  • Collaborate across teams to develop cloud-based solutions.

  • Evaluate and optimize existing systems for cost and performance.

  • Guide application modernization efforts.

  • Maintain enterprise architecture standards and ensure compliance.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders and executives.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years in application architecture.

  • 5+ years of enterprise AWS cloud experience, including CloudFormation or Terraform.

  • Proficiency in cloud-native and microservices architecture.

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps practices.

  • Strong experience with cloud migrations and high-availability systems.

  • Experience with containerization and serverless technologies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or OCI.

  • Prior experience with public sector or government projects.

  • Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

  • Programming experience in Java or Python.

  • Familiarity with APIs, REST/SOAP, messaging systems.

  • Exposure to AI/chatbot technology is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
