Field Service Technician

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description:

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our gas processing equipment located in various regions. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and programming of PLC-controlled systems, ensuring the continuous operation of our various products.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas processing equipment.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.
  • Document all service activities, including equipment maintenance and repairs, in detailed reports.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address emergency service requests.
  • Travel to various project sites, often spending up to 90% of the time away from the home base.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work.
  • Knowledge of midstream gas processing systems, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote and challenging environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and the willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
