Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated RF Engineer with expertise in HFSS, Cadence, SOI, front-end circuit design, RF up to 50 gigahertz, and circuit design and layout experience. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the development of advanced RF systems that play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of industry experts from the comfort of your own location.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, simulate, and optimize RF circuits and systems using HFSS and Cadence tools.
  2. Develop front-end circuitry for RF systems, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  3. Utilize expertise in SOI (Silicon on Insulator) technology to enhance circuit performance and integration.
  4. Conduct RF analysis and testing to validate design performance and meet project specifications.
  5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate RF subsystems into larger defense systems.
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
  7. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in RF engineering and defense applications.
  8. Adhere to security protocols and regulations governing defense technology development, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to drive project progress and achieve milestones.
  10. Uphold a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in all aspects of RF engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in RF engineering, with a focus on HFSS, Cadence, SOI, and front-end circuit design.
  • Proficiency in RF design up to 50 gigahertz, including circuit design, simulation, and layout.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, including transmission lines, impedance matching, and RF circuit analysis.
  • Experience with RF testing equipment and methodologies.
