Position: Business Process Consultant ServiceNow Platform
Location: US - Remote
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possibility for extension or Convert Full-time)
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Process Consultant & Product Owner to lead enhancement and defect management efforts for our ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in stakeholder collaboration, requirements gathering, and driving delivery from concept to execution. The successful candidate will also play a key role in shaping internal processes and standards to improve operational efficiency and platform governance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming enhancement requests and defect reports.
Collaborate with requesters to clarify business needs, define requirements, and assess impact.
Translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize backlog items based on business value, urgency, and strategic alignment.
Facilitate sprint planning and ensure timely delivery of enhancements and fixes.
Monitor progress and remove blockers to ensure smooth execution.
Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and platform support teams.
Communicate roadmap updates, release plans, and delivery timelines.
Ensure stakeholder feedback is incorporated into future iterations.
Identify opportunities to streamline internal workflows and improve platform governance.
Contribute to the development and documentation of operational standards and best practices.
Support compliance with upgrade cycles, patching, and platform health checks.
Qualifications
Proven experience in ServiceNow administration, support, or product ownership.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform architecture.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and delivery plans.
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS).
Familiarity with ITIL or similar structured support frameworks.
Experience in agile delivery and backlog management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Agile. Jira).
