Job Details

The Assoc Eng/Process Eng role includes supporting and evaluating the application of existing and emerging technologies to enhance operational performance, particularly in automation engineering.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluating problems, making recommendations, providing implementation plans, and quantifying and evaluating complex issues
  • Project proposal development
  • Analyses and evaluations that require advanced statistical methods, including statistical quality control (SQC) and statistical process control (SPC) applications
  • Constructing mathematical and statistical models to quantify and assess intricate problems, contributing to operations research and simulation efforts
  • Participating in the formulation of optimal solutions to problems under study, considering technical, operational, and economic implications
  • Applying advanced tools and techniques to develop procedures for forecasting, organizing, and allocating resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal resource management
  • Determining optimal procedures, cost-effective use of technologies, tools, equipment, and human resources, as well as work involvement and work measurement
  • Apply engineering principles and techniques to projects aligned with air operations and corporate philosophy, determining work involvement and work performance through process measurement and evaluation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelors degree.

Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge in statistics, modeling, process analysis and design, economic analysis, production management, computer system design, software capabilities, and programming.

Communication and human relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills: Data Mining and Data Visualization. Industrial Engineering degree/background preferred.
