Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Senior Lead Security Engineer to architect, integrate, and sustain FCC's cybersecurity platforms and infrastructure. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates interstate and international communications. Its Cybersecurity Support Services program is transitioning to a Managed Cybersecurity Services model, which enhances defense, meets federal mandates, and protects critical infrastructure.
This position is on-site at FCC headquarters; 45 L Street NE, Washington, DC 20002.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Lead Security Engineer will possess the knowledge, skills, tasks, and capabilities described in the Work Role for Infrastructure Support (PD-WRL-004) as outlined in the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Work Role Framework.
The Senior Lead Security Engineer will also: Lead security architecture, tool engineering, and platform O&M. Guide DevSecOps, Zero-Trust, secure cloud integration, and change management. Maintain enterprise hardening standards, vulnerability scanning, and STIG/CIS compliance. Produce engineering design docs, test plans, and COOP activation support. Chair security reviews on the Change Control Board (CCB/ICCB).
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement: Must have a Top-Secret clearance. Education and/or experience: 7+ years of experience performing cyber infrastructure support activities in Enterprise Cybersecurity Support government contracts. Technical Knowledge: Expert in engineering hybrid on-prem / FedRAMP cloud platforms using Zero-Trust and DevSecOps pipelines, applying STIG / CIS baselines and NIST 800-53 Rev 5 controls to deliver continuous monitoring and vulnerability metrics through ServiceNow and CDM dashboards. Certifications: The ideal candidate will have the following certifications:o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) certificationo Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert Skills: Core competencies in Cybersecurity Engineering practices. Federal experience (preferred)
