Job Details
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience performing expert-level security analysis.
- Proficiency in IRS Publication 1075 (Rev. 11-2021) compliance and requirements.
- Experience with preparing for and actively participating in IRS Safeguard Reviews at a state agency.
- Experience with IRS Safeguard Computer Security Evaluation Matrix (SCSEM) implementation and compliance.
- Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams tools.
- Experience with Federal or State regulatory compliance (FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with the Agency’s technical and administrative compliance to IRS Publication 1075.
- Review the Agency’s SSR, SSPs, and SSAs for compliance with Pub 1075.
- Identify relevant IRS SCSEMs and evaluate the Agency’s compliance, providing remediation assistance.
- Coordinate Safeguard Review preparation, planning, reporting, and communication using project management methods.
- Provide expert opinion for proposed technical solutions regarding IRS Pub 1075 requirements.
- Coordinate and assist with follow-up to the Safeguard Review, including development of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- Research potential technical solutions for bringing agency applications and infrastructure into Pub 1075 compliance.
