Job Description: Network Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer with 3 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of networking fundamentals, experience with leading network technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot and support complex infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for enterprise network environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

  • Support and maintain network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto

  • Utilize service ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)

  • Interpret and update network topology diagrams and associated documentation

  • Assist in maintaining firewall configurations, including NAT, ACLs, and security best practices

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and infrastructure improvements

Required Skills:

  • Experience with ServiceNow

  • Basic proficiency in SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
