Job Details

We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a large, cross-functional program, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of value and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAFe principles, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Program Execution: Lead the execution of Program Increments (PIs), including facilitating PI Planning events, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops.

Manage Impediments and Risks: Identify, track, and escalate program-level impediments. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve risks and dependencies affecting progress.

Improvement and Transparency: Foster a culture of relentless improvement, track program metrics, analyze performance, and drive enhancements.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between ART teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely updates on program status, goals, and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years as a Scrum Master, Program Manager, or Project Manager in an Agile environment.

Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar leadership role within SAFe.

SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe Program Consultant) preferred.

Proven track record in facilitating large-scale planning events.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

Experience in risk management, dependency management, and impediment removal at the program level.

Strong grasp of Agile and Lean principles.

Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., Jira Align, Azure DevOps, Rally).

Desired Skills:

Coaching experience in Agile or SAFe adoption.

Background in software development or technical program management.

Experience in complex, multi-team environments.
