We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. The Tax Manager will lead tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the firm s continued growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review individual, corporate, partnership, estate, gift, and nonprofit tax returns.

  • Serve as an effective team leader, overseeing engagement components and assignments.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

  • Stay current on market trends, tax law updates, and business developments.

  • Contribute to firm growth by identifying opportunities to expand client services.

  • Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting in a similar role.

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting (Master s degree preferred).

  • CPA designation or active candidacy preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels.

  • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
