The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and play a crucial role in safeguarding critical information systems across multiple agencies. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and frameworks while contributing to national security efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and maintain the security posture of assigned information systems, programs, and enclaves
  • Develop and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages using tools like ServiceNow, eMASS, or XACTA
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and STIG compliance checks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including Security System Plans (SSPs)
  • Establish and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide clear, non-technical translations of complex security configurations
  • Generate reports on system assessment and authorization (A&A) status
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD and agency-specific security directives

Qualifications:

Required:
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
  • Security+ CE Certification
  • 3-5 years in RMF and IA
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity and information system security
  • Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and other cybersecurity frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in information security, compliance, or system accreditation

Desired:
  • CISSP or CISM certification
  • Experience working across multiple agencies
