Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: McLean, VA, Plano, TX or Richmond, VA
Duration: ~12 months
Overview:
They are looking for a ServiceNow Developer for the Cloud Operations Engineering team. The candidate will work with AWS-focused teams, manage ServiceNow development requests, and contribute to their platform's reliability and scalability. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and practical experience in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, and IT operations.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow solutions tailored to business needs.
Handle lifecycle management, including unit testing, peer reviews, and system testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modules such as Asset Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
Ensure seamless integration with tools and environments specific to our cloud operations (AWS and other cloud providers).
Manage and resolve incoming ServiceNow-related engineering requests.
Conduct discovery and documentation of existing workflows, providing optimization recommendations.
Troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical issues in ServiceNow environments.

Skills:
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development (including scripting, configurations, and workflows).
JavaScript expertise for creating custom scripts and improving platform functionality.
Hands-on experience with Discovery implementation for asset and configuration management.
Knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Proven track record of ServiceNow platform customization and deployment.
Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow or similar platforms in an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud provider platforms is preferred.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
ServiceNow System Administrator or related certifications.
