Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for both initiatives.
- Lead the IT project team with clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage the CMMC Level 2 Certification process: assess tasks, define project sequences, and establish schedules.
- Oversee cloud migration planning including requirements gathering, vendor selection, data strategy, security protocols, and change management.
- Track milestones and status, report regularly to stakeholders, and address risks proactively.
- Manage schedules using MS Project and Smartsheet (open to other free tools).
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Maintain thorough documentation and provide training as part of close-out.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years as an IT Project Manager in a medium-to-large sized company.
- Must have experience managing IT system, software, or security implementation projects.
- Experience with CMMC Level 2 and/or NIST SP 800-171 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud storage, IT compliance, and security frameworks.
- Able to self-start, build frameworks, and work without corporate governance structure.
- Comfortable working on loosely defined projects and establishing best practices from scratch.
