Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Tricentis Tosca

Location: Raleigh NC

Duration: 6 Months (with possible extensions)

 

Job Overview:

 

Client is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Tricentis Tosca to support ongoing automation initiatives. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases, ensuring the highest quality standards for applications across the enterprise. This role requires strong collaboration with development, business, and QA teams to drive testing efficiency and improve overall product quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop reusable and modular automation frameworks to support regression and functional testing.
  • Generate test reports, provide testing metrics, and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
  • Ensure test automation aligns with industry best practices and project timelines.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (test case creation, execution, framework design).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest).
  • Knowledge of API testing and test data management.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences domain is a plus.

 

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Tricentis Tosca certification preferred.
