Project Manager with Active Directory

Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Active Directory migration projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, desktop support, and external vendors.
• Oversee the analysis of existing Active Directory environments, domain trusts, OU structures, and group policies.
• Ensure risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders through regular status reports and updates.
• Facilitate testing, validation, and cutover activities for AD migrations and user impact minimization.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 12 + years of IT project management experience, with at least 5+ years hands-on experience in Active Directory migration projects.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and identity management concepts.
• Experience managing migrations such as domain consolidations, forest-to-forest migrations, or AD restructuring.
• Strong stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
• Familiarity with tools such as ADMT, Quest Migration Manager, or similar is a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred.
