We are seeking a customer-focused and technically proficient Desktop Support Technician with 2-5 years of corporate IT support experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Active Directory and Office 365 support, and a proven ability to document ticket details to support the development of knowledge-based articles. We are seeking a customer-focused and technically proficient Desktop Support Technician with 2-5 years of corporate IT support experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Active Directory and Office 365 support, and a proven ability to document ticket details to support the development of knowledge-based articles. This role is essential to ensuring end-user satisfaction and maintaining a stable IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a corporate environment.
- Support and manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies using Active Directory.
- Assist users with Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Document detailed ticket information in ServiceNow to support knowledge base development and improve future resolution times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking records.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate desktop support or IT help desk roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly and thoroughly.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Associate degree in IT or related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified) a plus.
