About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in pharmacy operations, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or specialty pharmacy products. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring that systems and processes align with regulatory requirements and support patient-centered pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders, pharmacists, clinicians, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for pharmacy-related systems and products.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process maps.
  • Support the design and implementation of solutions that improve specialty pharmacy operations, patient adherence, prior authorizations, and medication management.
  • Analyze pharmacy data (claims, utilization, adherence, outcomes) and generate insights to support value-based care initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, CMS, URAC, etc.) in system designs and workflows.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for pharmacy and specialty pharmacy processes, including dispensing, fulfillment, inventory management, and patient support services.
  • Support system testing (UAT, regression testing) and validate that delivered solutions meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and client stakeholders.
