Job Details

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

As a Senior Software Engineer Leader in the Network & Communication Systems business, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design, development, and test of specialized solutions that are providing mission critical solutions to our customers.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences including device driver development (Linux), embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity) and C/C++, Java, and Python programming languages.

We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated leadership in Agile project managment and execution
    • Ability to manage resources, coordinate with stakeholders, and participate in work scope planning and goal setting
    • Professional customer communication and responsiveness in a dynamic enviroment
    • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
    • Knowledge of networking protocols and socket programming
    • Strong Linux background, including device trees and drivers
    • Experience in software architecture

    • Familiarity with hypervisors and virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, Xen).
    • Proficiency with Buildroot or similar build systems for embedded Linux.
    • Knowledge of security practices in embedded systems developmen
