Job Details
Role: Snowflake Architect
Location : Plano, TX or St. Louis, MO Preferred or Remote if candidate is top notch
Duration : 6 Months contract
Job Description :
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Lead data warehouse modernization and migration initiatives to Snowflake
- Define data modeling, ingestion, and transformation standards (ELT, dimensional, Data Vault)
- Optimize Snowflake performance and cost using warehouses, clustering, and resource monitors
- Architect secure data access using RBAC, masking policies, and row-level security
- Integrate Snowflake with ETL/ELT and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.)
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Establish best practices for governance, reliability, and scalability
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams
8+ years in data engineering/architecture with 5+ years hands-on Snowflake experience
