Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer MBSE for a high growth defense contractor in the Largo, FL, Burnsville, MN or Johnstown, PA.



The Senior Systems Engineer would be responsible leading a technical group of engineers on MBSE related activity and completion of deliverables on time and budget. Design, develop, analyze, document, and test products, systems, or subsystems, utilizing CAD, Cameo, SysML or other design/analysis software as needed.

responsibilities:



  • Proficient in MBSE, using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler to develop new products.

  • Applies MBSE for system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Contributes to an engineering team in technical activities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

  • Designs, develops, tests, and documents products, systems, or subsystems.

  • Reviews customer specs, creating cost-optimized designs under guidance.

  • Allocates system requirements and derives subsystem/component needs.

  • Provides budget, cost, and schedule inputs for design tasks.

  • Specifies and evaluates supplier components and services.

  • Drives design-to-cost and manufacturability requirements.

  • Builds prototypes to mitigate development risks.
