Job Title: Oracle ERP Configurator

Duration: 6 9months extendable upto 2 years (based on performance)

Remote- CTH role

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for designing and programming the product configuration requirements as defined by the business into our Order Acquisition Systems. Works closely with business partners and the Senior Product Configurator Analyst to understand the business requirements and create designs that meet those requirements. Will be responsible for helping to establish and follow processes to ensure that required changes are programmed correctly, properly tested and successfully implemented.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Percentages represent guidelines only; May vary by position and fluctuate due to changing business needs.
  • 40% - Product Programming Program the product configuration as required in the proposed design. This will involve understanding the design requirement, programming the system, unit testing the changes and working with the Senior Product Configuration Analysts to ensure that the implementation process is followed.
  • 30% - Production Support Takes a lead role in resolving production order issues. This will involve working with the business partner and other members of the team to help identify the issue, understand the impact, propose a solution and implement the solution.
  • 15% - System Design Work closely with the Senior Product Configurator Analysts and the business partners to create system designs that meet the product configuration requirements of the business.
  • 10% - Documentation Create and update documentation for changes made to systems. Assist in the review of documentation created by team members to ensure it is understood, accurate and follows current documentation format. In addition, propose new processes / changes to existing processes that help ensure the successful implementation of projects.5% - Project management Assist the Team Lead / Manager in establishing project plans as well as communicate the status of tasks to the appropriate parties.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
  • Responsibilities outside of normal business hours: Assist with production product configuration issues that occur outside normal business or require coding / implementation outside normal business hours.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer related field (MIS or Computer Science or equivalent) or equivalent and 2+ years of experience with Product Configuration.

Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and programming BOM and / or Configurator requirements into the Oracle system. This includes working with business partners and the Senior Oracle Product Configurator Analyst to understand the business requirements and creating designs that meet those requirements. Responsibilities also include helping to resolve production issues, documenting changes made to the Oracle system and helping to establish project plans.

Technical / functional skills (includes computer skills):

Knowledge of Pella product offering, Oracle BOM / Configurator, MS Project, MS Office, Outlook.
