WFS Module Assembly & Test Technician
Position: WFS Module Assembly & Test Technician
Department: Production / Manufacturing / Assembly
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our assembly team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual assembly, calibration, and functional testing of WFS (Wavefront Sensor / Warehouse Fulfillment System / Workflow System) modules according to precise specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual assembly of electro-mechanical WFS modules and sub-assemblies.
Follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings for components such as Part 101 and Part 102.
Conduct basic functional testing and calibration of assembled units using specified equipment.
Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and identify any defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Accurately document assembly and test results on production travelers or in digital systems.
Meet daily production targets while adhering to all quality and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: 6+ months of experience in a light manufacturing, assembly, or technician role.
Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, pliers) and basic measurement instruments.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Basic computer skills for data entry.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to handle small parts and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
