Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our team in Dallas,TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient business and technical solutions. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify objectives, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for developers and QA teams.
- Support the software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirement analysis to user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create process flow diagrams, user stories, and wireframes to clarify business logic and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and developers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions that align with business goals.
- Assist in testing and validation, ensuring system enhancements meet acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders at all levels, maintaining transparency and alignment.
- Support change management, documentation, and training for end-users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, financial services, insurance, or related industries.
- Proven experience with requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Proficiency in data analysis and SQL (basic to intermediate level).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with API documentation and integration projects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or data-driven environments.
- Exposure to BI/reporting tools and business process automation.
