QA Architect

Position Title: QA Architect

Location: Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; Strongsville, OH 

Overview: As the QA Architect you will work closely with the Infrastructure, Risk, Testing, and Compliance areas to review, adjust, and enhance our existing framework to align with industry best practices. You will be responsible for designing the quality assurance functions within the organization, ensuring proper standards are in place to mitigate risk for services delivered to both external and internal customers.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Standard Development and Implementation: Create and enforce comprehensive quality standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze quality data using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of quality issues, then generate reports for management.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and champion quality improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce defects.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and standards, including documentation and recordkeeping.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments like production, engineering, and customer service to identify and address quality concerns throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 6+ years as a Testing Strategist or Transformation leader
• Solid project management skills
• 6+ years leading a team of project managers and engineers
• 6+ years of experience in supporting multiple concurrent competing work efforts
• 6+ years in current state assessment and gap identification within testing organizations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and principles
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in data analysis and statistical tools
• Experience in quality audits and investigations
