Edupoint Synergy SIS Functional and Technical Consultant

Student Information System (SIS)

Our client in has implemented Edupoint Synergy SIS and are looking for Technical and Functional consultants to help configure and maintain the Synergy SIS system and build reports, interfaces, extensions and data conversion.

Experience working with any SIS (Student Information System) like Edupoint Synergy, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, and Blackbaud is acceptable.

SIS Synergy / Genesis Functional Consultant

Experienced Professional

• Experience implementing Edupoint Synergy SIS
• Have strong functional understanding of Synergy Student Information System with the ability to discuss and demonstrate how Synergy may be configured to meet a customer's business needs
• Deliver work needed on projects including the writing of functional specifications
• Knowledge of various state, region, county, district, and school organizational structures
• Manage all aspects of implementation and complete all Synergy configurations
• Help customers focus on their goals and drive implementation
• Educate customers with regard to Synergy features and functions
• Provide functional expertise to customers during the implementation process
• Ability to share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with entry level staff to senior leadership
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift / realign priorities

Note Experienced Professional

• Experience implementing a student information system (SIS) at any school district or higher education institution.
• Have strong functional understanding of Student Information System and school operations that rely on student information systems.

• Experienced Professional
• Experience working with Synergy SIS
• The purpose of the Technical Staff is to create new functionality, respond to client issues, and incorporate new enhancements into the Edupoint student information system product line
• Experience using Generic Conversion Tool(GCE tool) to support data conversion / migration to synergy.
• Extend the Synergy framework to interface with external feeder systems using .NET, C#, ST Toolkit and web technologies
• 3 or more years experience in C#, SQL / Transact SQL, Visual Studio 2010 and above, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle.
• Experience developing reports using SIREN Reporting
• Experience developing custom extensions using ST Toolkit

Note Experienced Professional

• Expert level C#, .Net, Visual Studio and SQL / Transact SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of any reporting tool such as Crystal Reports.
• Nice to have - experience working with K12 or Higher education Student Information System like PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, and Blackbaud
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred or equivalent experience
• Entry Level Candidates with prior programming experience are encouraged to apply.
