Application Security Engineer

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an Application Security Engineer in New York, NY.

Description:
An application security engineer ensures software security by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing protective measures, collaborating with development teams, monitoring suspicious activities, and staying updated on security trends.
? Conduct security analysis and documentation of PeopleSoft roles and permission lists.
? Map and migrate security roles to Workday, ensuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) best practices.
? Implement security policies, governance frameworks, and compliance controls (SOX, GDPR, NIST).
? Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
? Provide training and documentation on Workday security policies.

Mandatory Qualification:
? Plans and carries out security measures to protect an organization's computer networks and systems.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months of experience conducting security analysis and documentation of PeopleSoft roles and permission lists.
? 84 months of experience mapping and migrating security roles to Workday, ensuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) best practices.
? 84 months of experience implementing security policies, governance frameworks, and compliance controls (SOX, GDPR, NIST).
? 84 months of experience conducting security risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
? 84 months of experience providing training and documentation on Workday security policies.
? 84 months of experience analyzing security issues and developing innovative solutions to mitigate risks.
? 84 months of experience working collaboratively with various teams to ensure comprehensive security practices.
? Workday Pro Security Certification
? Bachelor's degree.
