Registered Nurse (RN) Review Analyst | Remote | Michigan | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Review Analyst with 2+ years of experience located in Michigan. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform prospective, concurrent and retrospective review of post-acute care services to ensure medical necessity, appropriate length of stay, intensity of service and level of care, including appeal requests initiated by providers, facilities and members. May establish care plans and coordinate care through the health care continuum including member outreach assessments.

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Review Analyst with 2+ years of experience located in Michigan. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license
- 2-4 years of clinical experience which may include acute/post-acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, or utilization review
- Clinical experience in SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility), LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) or IPR (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
- Strong Computer Skills - Microsoft Office/Excel
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Utilization management experience and one (1) year health insurance plan experience or managed care environment
- InterQual or Millman Cares Guidelines experience
- ICU or ER clinical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, allied health, business, or related field
