Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW : Calypso Developer Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Calypso Java Developer with total IT experience of 5+ years. The ideal candidate will possess strong development and troubleshooting skills as well as knowledge of Calypso & commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing new features and enhancements for various Desks/Operations users in US Bank related to Calypso using Java and Calypso APIs.
Participate in planning sessions, estimate work, test, provide L2 support.
Develop, enhance, and maintain back-office applications on the Calypso platform to support commodity trading operation
Collaborate with operations and trade support teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that optimize trade processing and settlement
Implement and maintain workflows for trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes
Skills / Experience Required:
Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) with Java development, particularly along with Calypso APIs.
Calypso Customizations such as Scheduled Tasks, Reports, Engines.
Proven expertise with Calypso v16 or above , specifically related to commodity asset class.
Strong understanding of commodities trading processes, including trade settlement, reconciliation, cash flows, and reporting.
Good understanding of Calypso's message and sender frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact directly with Operations Users.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
AWS, Kubernetes, Grafana, Maven, Jenkins, Cloudbees, Github CoPilot
