Network Engineer III
Unison Systems is looking for a Network Engineer III for a Broadband Service Provider for our national telecommunications client. This will be a long-term month contract out of the Greenwood Village, CO office. This role offers 1 remote day a week.
This Network Engineer will plan and implement enterprise networks and related hardware and software. Design and document network architecture. Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establish security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters. Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Test and tune security devices and systems. Program routers and switches. Implement communications technologies (data or voice). Manage network services from planning phase through implementation. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required. 5- 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge on the implementation high split and mid split.
- Author of highly technical documents such as network design diagrams, implementation guides and field bulletins.
- Troubleshooting various issues as it relates to our lab and operations networks.
- Fluent in resolving bugs, defects as well as testing for innovative technology features and enhancements.
- Offering technical guidance to team members and peer engineers.
- Initiative-taking in learning new platforms to contribute to the evolution of the business.
