Position: .NET Technical Lead

Location: California, LA ,USA

Full Time / Permanent role

Experience: 10 12 years (with at least 3+ years in Tech Lead role)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Onsite .NET Technical Lead to oversee development, migration, and modernization of enterprise applications built on .NET and SQL Server backend. The role will drive the Azure cloud migration (Lift & Shift) followed by modernization into microservices leveraging Azure services. The onsite lead will act as a bridge between client stakeholders and the offshore team, providing technical leadership, coordination, and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for applications developed in .NET and SQL Server.
• Lead design, development, and enhancement efforts using ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HangFire.
• Support and guide offshore team with tasks involving Classic ASP, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and HangFire.
• Oversee migration to Azure Cloud (Lift & Shift) and support modernization into microservices.
• Ensure effective use of Azure services in application modernization.
• Coordinate daily with the offshore team, ensuring clarity of requirements, task alignment, and quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and resolve technical challenges.
• Manage version control, branching, and integration using Bitbucket/GitHub.
• Collaborate with architects, PM/Scrum Master, QA, and DevOps engineers to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Participate in client discussions, provide status updates, and ensure timely delivery.

Must Have Skills:

• Strong experience in ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HangFire.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance).
• Basic understanding of Classic ASP applications.
• Proficiency with Bitbucket/GitHub for source control.
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET, Classic ASP, SQL Server, and HangFire technology stack.
• Hands-on exposure to Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, etc.).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for onsite-offshore collaboration.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards).
• Exposure to microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 4 years in a Tech Lead role.
• Proven experience in .NET/SQL Server application development and leadership.
• Exposure to cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
