Job Title: Power Platform Bot Developer (Microsoft)

Location: [Onsite Sanjose CA]

Experience Required: 8+ years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Bot Developer to design, build, and deploy conversational bots using Microsoft Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents). The ideal candidate will have experience connecting bots to enterprise data sources and publishing them to targeted business units or environments within the Power Platform ecosystem.

This role is critical to streamlining internal processes and enhancing user experience through intelligent, automated conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop conversational bots using Copilot Studio / Power Virtual Agents.
  • Integrate bots with enterprise data sources such as Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and REST APIs.
  • Deploy bots to specific business units or Power Platform environments, ensuring secure and role-based access.
  • Enhance bot functionality using Power Automate for backend workflows and actions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement user-centric solutions.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing, publish, and maintain bots with ongoing improvements.
  • Create documentation covering bot logic, data integration, deployment, and support processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Virtual Agents.
  • Solid understanding of Power Automate, especially in multi-step flows and approvals.
  • Experience integrating bots with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and external APIs.
  • Ability to manage environments and configure bot access for specific business units.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and the Power Platform admin center.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
