Role Summary

We are hiring a Guidewire Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter and working knowledge of PolicyCenter to support enterprise insurance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep exposure to P&C insurance processes, Agile delivery, and Guidewire functional analysis.

This role partners closely with business stakeholders, Guidewire developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable, compliant insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities (Keyword-Optimized)
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Guidewire BillingCenter and related Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality.

  • Translate insurance business needs into functional requirements, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and Guidewire technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.

  • Support the full SDLC including requirements, design, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.

  • Perform data validation and analysis using SQL to support billing and policy workflows.

  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and workshops.

  • Support Guidewire integrations, API-based workflows, and interface validation (REST/SOAP).

  • Ensure alignment with P&C insurance processes, compliance standards, and documentation best practices.

Required Skills & Experience (High-Ranking Keywords)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.

  • Working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter (ClaimCenter is a plus).

  • Solid understanding of insurance policy administration, billing, invoicing, and claims processes.

  • Experience authoring BRDs, FRDs, functional specs, and Agile user stories.

  • Proficiency with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Guidewire Certification (BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, or ClaimCenter).

  • Experience with Guidewire system integrations and API workflows.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Experience with data migration, reporting, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Knowledge of insurance compliance frameworks (NAIC, SOX, PCI-DSS).
