As a Research Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling and scaling user research practices across the organization. You will work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to streamline research processes, ensure ethical and efficient data handling, and provide the necessary tools, resources, and infrastructure to support high-quality research. Your goal is to create a seamless and effective research ecosystem that empowers teams to generate valuable user insights and drive informed decision-making.
The Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement scalable research operations strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
Manage participant recruitment, ensuring a diverse and representative pool while maintaining ethical and compliance standards.
Oversee research tools, platforms, and vendor relationships, optimizing technology and processes to support research needs.
Create and maintain a centralized research repository to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure accessibility of insights.
Establish and enforce data governance and privacy policies to protect participant confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical guidelines.
Provide logistical support for research activities, including scheduling, incentives, and documentation.
Foster a culture of research by advocating for best practices, training stakeholders, and promoting the impact of research across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product and business strategies.
Establish and support a framework for UX research team metrics, enabling measurement of research impact and effectiveness.
Continuously evaluate and improve research operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What We Look for in a Candidate
Proven experience in research operations, user research, or a related field within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of user research methodologies, participant recruitment, and data management best practices.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Familiarity with research tools, platforms, and knowledge management systems.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in user research.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, aspiring designer seeking to work alongside other designers and researchers. This individual will have the opportunity to learn from mid and senior-level designers to grow and mature their user experience knowledge and expertise.
The Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to translate ideas, research findings, data, and business requirements into effective design solutions.
Collaborate with UX Research to evaluate your concepts/designs.
Effectively collaborate with Product and Development partners to bring experiences to life.
Advocate for client end-users throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Establish, document, and validate design assumptions.
Create deliverables for the team you support (i.e., JTBD, UX scorecards, competitive evaluations, user flows, low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, etc.) that solve real user problems and achieve the desired outcome(s).
Work with more senior designers to document deliverables to ensure inclusive design decisions are articulated properly to Development and other stakeholders.
Work closely with Development to understand and work around constraints.
What We Look for in a Candidate
Bachelor's Degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field
A portfolio or case study that can be used to demonstrate your experience
You have a growing set of tactical user experience skills and an evolving understanding of visual/UI design.
You share your work early and often and seek out constructive feedback from your manager, stakeholders, and other designers.
You can identify pros/cons, assumptions, questions, and implications related to your designs and concepts.
You explore different ways to solve problems and/or achieve desired outcomes.
You understand the basic and foundational principles related to layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
You consider potential states (errors, successes, dead ends, etc.) in your work.
You use existing research and data to inform your solutions.
You challenge your team's understanding of the problem space and/or desired outcome(s).
